The amount of research performed to find content that would appeal to teenagers, while avoiding bombarding them with depressing information to the point of either desensitizing them or developing climate anxiety, was overwhelming. I found myself diving into a spiral of catastrophic news that provided little hope. However, as my creativity flourished in showing news from optimistic perspectives aiming to find solutions rather than contribute to dividing and hopeless conversations, my students surprised me every day with the 'awareness chip' that older generations lack. Not to blame my grandparents, since hundreds of years ago, resources seemed more abundant and pollution was not everyday soup. Anyways, my students' optimistic and action oriented approaches provided the hope I was lacking and engendered the idea of a space where tangible efforts become amplified, information is made available, and boundaries across imaginary tangents such as disciplines, beliefs, and political views are dissolved in the search for a better tomorrow for all beings of Planet Earth. Feel free to comment, and feel encouraged to send a piece of art, in writing or illustration, or however you want to contribute to a shared view of human embeddedness in the natural world. ]]>
